April 11th, Collaboration Framework Signing Ceremony was hold between Guangdong University of Finance and the University of Nottingham , at the place of Guangdong Building . Guangdong Provincial Vice-Governor Yunxian Chen has attended the ceremony. According to the agreement, both universities will dedicate their effort to the cultivation of Guangdong advanced financial talents and relevant scientific research, as well as supporting Guangdong financial construction and economic up-grating by talents and intelligence.

The ceremony was hosted by Secretary of Party Committee Zhuang Liu. The agreement was signed by President Lei Lu, on behalf of GDUF, and Vice-Chancellor David Greenaway, on behalf of UON.
